《康復(fù)》(1-2章)翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

  本論文屬于翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。翻譯材料選自美國2018年最新出版的作品《康復(fù)》(The Recovering)的第一章和第二章,作者是萊絲莉·杰米森。杰米森回憶記錄了自己在耶魯大學(xué)、愛荷華創(chuàng)意寫作班學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)期通過酗酒尋找創(chuàng)作靈感的經(jīng)歷。小說從酗酒這一角度出發(fā),既記述描寫了一些天才酒鬼作家們的生平以及他們的主要作品。這些天才因各種人生境遇沉迷酒精不能自拔。酒精成就了他們的輝煌,也毀了他們的人生。又講述了自己多年來與酒精抗?fàn)幍倪^程,以及在此過程中對人生的思考和對自己創(chuàng)作的探究。從與酒結(jié)緣到第一次戒酒,然后開始陷入反復(fù)不斷的酗酒戒酒怪圈,作者一直試圖尋找一種有效的方法來讓自己“康復(fù)”。本論文以功能對等理論作為指導(dǎo)理論。功能對等理論(Functional Equivalence Theory)是美國翻譯大師尤金·A·奈達(dá)(Eugene A Nida)于上世紀(jì)60年代提出的翻譯理論。在研究翻譯的過程中,奈達(dá)先提出形式對等和功能對等兩個(gè)概念。接著于1969年,他又提出功能對等理論。該理論要求譯者在翻譯過程中不應(yīng)片面地追求文字表面的死板對應(yīng),而要在兩種語言間達(dá)成功能上的對等。本次翻譯實(shí)踐中筆者以功能對等理論...
