本篇翻譯報告原文選自《后殖民視角:國際關(guān)系中的種族、性別與文化》(Race,Gender,and Culture in International Relations:Postcolonial Perspective)一書中的第八章。該書由美國華盛頓特區(qū)美利堅(jiān)大學(xué)國際服務(wù)學(xué)院副教授倫道夫·佩爾紹德與加拿大麥克馬斯特大學(xué)國際關(guān)系副教授愛麗娜·吉達(dá)合著。本書共十章,是國際關(guān)系中出現(xiàn)的第一本介紹后殖民主義的教科書。本報告分為五章:第一章是翻譯項(xiàng)目介紹,包括項(xiàng)目的背景、意義和結(jié)構(gòu)。第二章是原文文本的分析,包括作者簡介、原文主要內(nèi)容以及語言風(fēng)格和特點(diǎn)。第三章是翻譯的理論基礎(chǔ),為本翻譯報告的核心。第四部分為翻譯中所遇到的難點(diǎn)以及所使用的翻譯方法。第五部分為結(jié)論,包括翻譯過程中總結(jié)的經(jīng)驗(yàn)以及尚未解決的問題。
