外籍助教參與畜牧學(xué)研究生專業(yè)英語教學(xué)的探索與成效

【摘要】：專業(yè)英語是研究生的學(xué)位課程,其重要程度不言而喻;但目前研究生專業(yè)英語的師資力量不足,難以完成高效的專業(yè)英語教學(xué)任務(wù)。在專業(yè)英語的教學(xué)中外籍教師是較好的選擇,這是由外籍教師自身的條件決定的;然而國內(nèi)的外籍教師較缺乏,且具備專業(yè)知識背景的外籍教師少之又少,同時昂貴的聘任費用并不適用于所有高等院校。海外高年級留學(xué)生具備較高的英語水平,同時經(jīng)過一段時間專業(yè)知識的學(xué)習(xí)已經(jīng)具備一定的基礎(chǔ)理論知識,可以較好地替代外籍教師來進行專業(yè)英語的教學(xué)。本院基于以上幾點考慮,在畜牧學(xué)研究生專業(yè)英語中大膽嘗試采用高年級海外留學(xué)生擔(dān)任助教,協(xié)助主講教師進行專業(yè)英語教學(xué),獲得了較好的效果。
[Abstract]:Professional English is a degree course for graduate students, and its importance is self-evident, but at present, the teachers of professional English for graduate students are insufficient and it is difficult to complete the task of efficient professional English teaching. In the teaching of professional English, foreign teachers are a better choice, which is determined by the conditions of foreign teachers themselves. However, foreign teachers in China are scarce, and there are very few foreign teachers with professional knowledge background. At the same time, the high employment cost is not applicable to all colleges and universities. Overseas senior students have a high level of English, at the same time, after a period of professional knowledge learning has a certain basic theory knowledge, can better replace foreign teachers to carry out professional English teaching. Based on the above considerations, our college boldly tries to use senior overseas students as teaching assistants in professional English for postgraduates of animal husbandry, and assists the lecturer in professional English teaching, and has achieved good results.
