【摘要】：筆者所譯文本《侵權(quán)法》源于《美國(guó)法精要》系列叢書(shū),是典型的法律文本。據(jù)彼得·紐馬克(Peter Newmark)對(duì)文本類(lèi)型的分類(lèi),該文本屬于以?xún)?nèi)容為主的信息型文本,其主要功能在于如實(shí)地向讀者傳遞信息。翻譯過(guò)程中,筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)除了解相關(guān)法律術(shù)語(yǔ)、法規(guī)、案例外,該文本囊括眾多長(zhǎng)句,需在理論框架下選用恰當(dāng)?shù)姆g策略才能譯出更理想的譯文。有鑒于此,筆者經(jīng)過(guò)分析研讀,最終決定以紐馬克的交際翻譯原則為指導(dǎo),以法律文本中典型的長(zhǎng)句翻譯為切口,探索此類(lèi)文本中長(zhǎng)句的漢譯,冀求拋磚引玉,探討法律文本中長(zhǎng)句的翻譯策略。
[Abstract]:The text of Tort Law which is translated by the author originates from the series of American legal essence, which is a typical legal text. According to Peter Newmark (Peter Newmark) 's classification of text types, the text belongs to content-based information text, whose main function is to convey information to readers truthfully. In the process of translation, the author finds that apart from understanding the relevant legal terms, regulations and cases, the text includes many long sentences, and it is necessary to choose appropriate translation strategies under the theoretical framework in order to achieve a better translation. In view of this, after analysis and study, the author finally decides to take Newmark's communicative translation principle as the guide, take the typical long sentence translation in the legal text as the incision, and explore the Chinese translation of the long sentence in this kind of text, in the hope of offering some suggestions. This paper discusses the translation strategies of long sentences in legal texts.
