高中學(xué)生批判性思維傾向現(xiàn)狀與英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)相關(guān)性調(diào)查研究
[Abstract]:Critical thinking is a combination of conscious, rational, purposeful evaluation and judgment of self-monitoring and reflective advanced skills. In the 21 st century, critical thinking plays an important role in people's life and success. Critical thinking can not only meet the requirements of physical and mental development, but also promote the development of one's logical thinking. This kind of logical thinking can promote English learning. Therefore, it is very necessary to cultivate the critical thinking of high school students. A great deal of research on critical thinking has been carried out in universities. However, research on critical thinking is rare in high school. High school is a critical time to develop critical thinking because students are maturing both physically and mentally. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the critical thinking tendency of high school students. In this study, the California critical thinking disposition scale (Chinese version) and interviews were used to investigate 226 freshman students in the new second Middle School. The purpose of this study was to obtain the general characteristics of critical thinking tendency of freshmen. To find out whether there are significant gender differences in the critical thinking tendency of senior one students and to explore the correlation between their English learning achievement and their critical thinking tendency. The results are as follows: (1) the total score of critical thinking is 176, which is less than 196. It shows that the general situation of critical thinking tendency of senior one students is negative. However, the average score of analysis, systems, self-confidence and curiosity in the seven sub-items was moderate. Seeking truth, open-mindedness and maturity are at a low level. (2) there is no significant gender difference in the tendency of critical thinking between male and female students in general. However, in the seven subsections, male students performed better in analysis, confidence and curiosity than girls. Female students outperform boys in seeking truth. There is no significant gender difference between male and female students in the aspects of open-minded, systematic and mature. (3) there is a significant correlation between the general tendency of critical thinking and students' English achievement. In the distribution of critical thinking tendency, curiosity, self-confidence, analysis and truth-seeking are significantly correlated with the English learning achievement of senior one students. The higher the critical thinking tendency, the better the English academic achievement. Based on the above conclusions, some enlightenment of cultivating students' critical thinking is drawn: teachers should realize their importance in cultivating students' critical thinking. Teachers should encourage students to participate in open teaching, help students establish harmonious teacher-student relationship and guide students to become critical thinkers.
