【摘要】：經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的快速發(fā)展使得國家之間在經(jīng)濟(jì)、政治、教育、法律等方面的交流日益頻繁,對各類應(yīng)用文體的翻譯需求也在不斷提升。應(yīng)用翻譯不同于文學(xué)翻譯,譯者在翻譯時應(yīng)根據(jù)翻譯文本的特點(diǎn)采取靈活的翻譯策略。本文是一篇翻譯報告,翻譯原文節(jié)選自英國政府出版的伊拉克戰(zhàn)爭調(diào)查報告。由于原文篇幅較長,所以翻譯材料選擇了調(diào)查報告總結(jié)篇的"主要發(fā)現(xiàn)"和"教訓(xùn)"部分。伊拉克戰(zhàn)爭調(diào)查報告是英國政府對2003年英國追隨美國參加對伊拉克的侵略戰(zhàn)爭行動的調(diào)查,報告認(rèn)為當(dāng)初英國決定入侵伊拉克的理由并"不充分"。材料本身屬于應(yīng)用性文本,翻譯的目的主要是傳遞原文當(dāng)中的信息。調(diào)查報告翻譯的重點(diǎn)在于按照目的語讀者的閱讀習(xí)慣向讀者準(zhǔn)確地傳遞原文信息。而翻譯的難點(diǎn)則是筆者對翻譯原文背景信息的缺乏以及目的語語言表達(dá)的問題。為了解決這些問題,筆者使用了陸谷孫的《英漢大詞典》等工具書,以及維基百科和有道等網(wǎng)絡(luò)搜索工具,并且請導(dǎo)師以及同學(xué)審閱筆者的譯文以便找出存在的問題。根據(jù)調(diào)查報告的特點(diǎn),筆者使用了德國翻譯功能學(xué)派漢斯弗米爾提出的功能目的論作為翻譯實(shí)踐的指導(dǎo)原則,其中最主要的是其提出的三大原則:目的原則、連貫原則及忠實(shí)原則。此次的翻譯實(shí)踐不僅有助于鍛煉筆者的翻譯能力,同時也可以幫助讀者了解伊拉克戰(zhàn)爭前后,英國在伊拉克戰(zhàn)爭中所扮演的角色以及其采取的行動和政策。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of economic globalization, the communication among countries in economy, politics, education, law and so on is increasingly frequent. Application translation is different from literary translation. Translators should adopt flexible translation strategies according to the characteristics of the translated text. This article is a translation of the original excerpt from the British Government's Iraq War investigation report. Because of the length of the original text, the main findings and lessons of the summary of the investigation report are selected. The Iraq War investigation report, a British government investigation into Britain's involvement in the 2003 invasion of Iraq with the United States, found the reasons for Britain's decision to invade Iraq "inadequate". The material itself belongs to the applied text, and the purpose of translation is mainly to convey the information in the original text. The focus of the report translation is to accurately convey the original information to the target language readers according to their reading habits. The difficulty of translation is the lack of background information and the expression of target language. In order to solve these problems, the author used the reference books such as Lu Gusun's English-Chinese Dictionary, Wikipedia and youdao, and asked their teachers and classmates to review the translation to find out the existing problems. According to the characteristics of the investigation report, the author uses the Skopos theory put forward by Hans Vermeer, a German translation functional school, as the guiding principle of translation practice, the most important of which is the Skopos principle. The principle of coherence and fidelity. This translation practice not only helps to improve the author's translation ability, but also helps readers to understand the role played by Britain in the Iraq War before and after the Iraq War, as well as its actions and policies.
