【摘要】：《論語(yǔ)》中很多語(yǔ)句都成了格言警句,這些格言警句最大的特點(diǎn)是具有普適性。《論語(yǔ)》原文主要通過(guò)三個(gè)方面的手段表現(xiàn)這種普適性,一是格言警句不局限于具體的時(shí)間和地點(diǎn),二是在時(shí)體特征上不作規(guī)定,三是訴諸無(wú)主句或由指類名詞等充當(dāng)句子的邏輯主語(yǔ)。由于這些語(yǔ)法特征,讀者自然而然地將格言警句理解為超越時(shí)空的普遍真理,將邏輯主語(yǔ)想象成包括自己在內(nèi)的任何人,進(jìn)而領(lǐng)會(huì)其普遍適用性。英譯文在表達(dá)這種普適性時(shí)采用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),不會(huì)添加表示具體時(shí)間或地點(diǎn)的環(huán)境成分,更多使用具有類指或泛指意義的名詞或代詞,較少出現(xiàn)邏輯主語(yǔ)缺省的情形。漢英兩種語(yǔ)言在普適性表達(dá)上既有共性,也有差異,這可以追溯至兩種語(yǔ)言的相關(guān)類型特征。
[Abstract]:Many sentences in the Analects of Confucius have become aphorisms, and the greatest characteristic of these aphorisms is their universality. The first is that aphorism is not limited to specific time and place, the second is that there is no stipulation on the tense and aspect, and the third is to resort to the logical subject of the sentence, such as without subject or by referring to nouns, etc. As a result of these grammatical features, Naturally, the reader understands aphorism as a universal truth beyond time and space, and a logical subject as anyone, including himself, to understand its universal applicability. It does not add environmental elements to indicate the specific time or place, uses more nouns or pronouns with generic or generic meanings, and there is less default of logical subject. This can be traced back to the related type characteristics of both languages.
