【摘要】：本翻譯報(bào)告是在對(duì)《美國(guó)新澤西城市大學(xué)孔子學(xué)院申請(qǐng)材料》的研究以及本人對(duì)其進(jìn)行漢英翻譯實(shí)踐的基礎(chǔ)上形成的。該申請(qǐng)材料用于吉林華橋外國(guó)語學(xué)院和美國(guó)新澤西城市大學(xué)合作建立孔子學(xué)院,旨在進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)兩校間的國(guó)際交流與合作。在翻譯過程中,譯者遇到了如何再現(xiàn)外事文本特征以及如何正確翻譯具有特殊意義的中文表達(dá)方式和長(zhǎng)句等問題,并采取了意譯、使用正式和禮貌用語以及對(duì)句子進(jìn)行拆分和重組等策略。本篇翻譯報(bào)告在翻譯實(shí)踐的基礎(chǔ)上,除了引言和總結(jié)部分,主要包括對(duì)翻譯任務(wù)和翻譯過程的描述,對(duì)源文本和翻譯過程中遇到的主要問題及采取的解決方法的分析。論文的主體部分是第四部分,主要分析譯者在翻譯過程中遇到的主要問題及采取的解決方法。希望本翻譯研究報(bào)告能夠?qū)τ信d趣致力于外事文本翻譯的譯者有所裨益。
[Abstract]:This translation report is based on the study of the application materials for Confucius institute at city university of new jersey, USA, and the translation practice conducted by me. The application materials are used in Jilin huaqiao foreign language institute and u. S. A. City University of New Jersey cooperated in the establishment of Confucius Institutes. In the process of translation, translators are confronted with such problems as how to reproduce the features of foreign texts and how to correctly translate Chinese expressions and long sentences of special significance. It also adopts the strategies of free translation, formal and polite use of language, splitting and recombination of sentences, etc. This translation report is based on translation practice, except for the introduction and summary. It mainly includes the description of the translation task and the translation process, the analysis of the main problems encountered in the source text and the translation process and the analysis of the solutions adopted. The main part of the thesis is 4th parts. It is hoped that this study will be helpful to translators who are interested in translating foreign texts.
