【摘要】:翻譯在國(guó)家之間的交流溝通上占據(jù)著舉足輕重的地位,F(xiàn)如今在全球的大背景下,越來(lái)越多的國(guó)外學(xué)術(shù)文本涌入中國(guó),高質(zhì)量的翻譯供不應(yīng)求。然而目前學(xué)術(shù)類文本的翻譯現(xiàn)狀并不樂(lè)觀:學(xué)術(shù)文本翻譯的質(zhì)量良莠不齊;學(xué)術(shù)文本翻譯未能受到翻譯界足夠的重視,針對(duì)學(xué)術(shù)文本翻譯的相關(guān)理論研究又長(zhǎng)期為學(xué)術(shù)界所忽視。這些問(wèn)題影響學(xué)術(shù)文本的翻譯質(zhì)量,進(jìn)而制約了學(xué)術(shù)成果的傳播與發(fā)展;谝陨蠁(wèn)題,本報(bào)告將結(jié)合筆者本人的學(xué)術(shù)文本翻譯實(shí)踐進(jìn)行分析和研究,歸納總結(jié)學(xué)術(shù)類文本的翻譯策略與方法,為提高學(xué)術(shù)文本的翻譯質(zhì)量提供幫助。本報(bào)告的翻譯材料是翻譯界學(xué)術(shù)類書(shū)籍Becoming a Translator:An Introduction to the Theory and Practice of Translation的節(jié)選,該部分主要從用戶和譯者兩方面闡釋翻譯。筆者仔細(xì)分析原文內(nèi)容以及學(xué)術(shù)文本的文本特征,歸納總結(jié)翻譯策略,解決了翻譯過(guò)程中出現(xiàn)的詞匯,句法以及語(yǔ)篇層面的翻譯問(wèn)題,以提升學(xué)術(shù)類文本的翻譯質(zhì)量。本報(bào)告以紐馬克的文本類型理論為指導(dǎo),結(jié)合語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯的翻譯策略,通過(guò)對(duì)譯文的案例分析,分別從詞匯、句法及語(yǔ)篇層面總結(jié)了學(xué)術(shù)文本的翻譯方法。在詞匯層面上,由于學(xué)術(shù)類文本中含有大量的術(shù)語(yǔ)、專業(yè)詞匯以及一詞多義的現(xiàn)象,結(jié)合語(yǔ)義翻譯策略,筆者采取直譯和語(yǔ)境翻譯的翻譯方法。在句法層面,筆者采取了交際翻譯策略,將譯文讀者的因素放在首位,改變句子原有的結(jié)構(gòu),使其符合目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言讀者的用語(yǔ)習(xí)慣,而對(duì)于學(xué)術(shù)文本中常用的被動(dòng)句、陳述因果的句子以及結(jié)構(gòu)復(fù)雜的長(zhǎng)句子采用了句式轉(zhuǎn)換、逆向翻譯、句子拆分和重組的翻譯方法。在語(yǔ)篇層面,通過(guò)分析漢語(yǔ)與英語(yǔ)在銜接與連貫方式上的差異,采用調(diào)整連接詞和改編句子的方法以此提高翻譯的質(zhì)量。希望本報(bào)告能為解決學(xué)術(shù)文本翻譯中出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題提供借鑒,同時(shí)也能為學(xué)術(shù)文本翻譯的理論指導(dǎo)做出補(bǔ)充。
[Abstract]:Translation plays an important role in the communication between countries. Nowadays, in the global context, more and more foreign academic texts pour into China. The demand for high-quality translation is short of supply. However, the current situation of translation of academic texts is not optimistic: the quality of translation of academic texts is mixed; The academic text translation has not been paid enough attention to, and the theoretical research on the academic text translation has been neglected for a long time. These problems affect the translation quality of the academic text. Based on the above problems, this report will analyze and study the translation practice of academic texts and summarize the translation strategies and methods of academic texts. To help improve the quality of translation of academic texts. The translation material for this report is Becoming a Translator:An, an academic book from the translation community. Excerpt from Introduction to the Theory and Practice of Translation. The author analyzes the content of the original text and the characteristics of the academic text, summarizes the translation strategies, and solves the vocabulary appearing in the process of translation. In order to improve the translation quality of academic texts, this report is guided by Newmark's text typology theory and combines the translation strategies of semantic and communicative translation. The translation methods of academic texts are summarized from the lexical, syntactic and textual levels through case studies. At the lexical level, academic texts contain a large number of terms. Combining the semantic translation strategies, the author adopts the translation methods of literal translation and contextual translation. At the syntactic level, the author adopts communicative translation strategies. By putting the readers' factors in the first place, the original structure of the sentences should be changed to conform to the target language readers' idioms, while the passive sentences are commonly used in academic texts. Sentences that state causality and long sentences with complex structures are translated by sentence transformation, reverse translation, sentence splitting and recombination. By analyzing the differences between Chinese and English in cohesion and coherence. In order to improve the quality of translation, it is hoped that this report can be used to solve the problems in the translation of academic texts. At the same time, it can supplement the theoretical guidance of academic text translation.
