像其他流散群體一樣,阿拉伯裔美籍作家也高度關(guān)注他們及其同胞所面臨的身份困境。本文探討了五位穆斯林阿拉伯裔美籍女性作家的作品:戴安娜·阿布·賈芭的《新月》（2003）,艾麗西亞·伊里亞的《頭巾》（2005）,莫賈·卡夫的《戴橘紅色圍巾的女孩》（2006）,萊拉·哈拉比的《曾在應(yīng)許之地》（2007）和蘭達(dá)·賈拉爾的《回家地圖》（2008）。這些小說展現(xiàn)了眾多飽受身份困惑之苦的流散人物。除了運(yùn)用幾個注明的心理學(xué)理論外,本研究的創(chuàng)新之處在于,運(yùn)用了阿明·馬阿勞夫在《以身份之名·暴力與歸屬》（1998）中所提出的身份理論,來探討這幾部小說中的人物身份問題。本文除引言和結(jié)語外,共分為六章。引言部分簡要回顧國內(nèi)外研究這五部小說的文獻(xiàn)綜述,闡明本文所用的研究方法,這一方法主要從阿明·馬阿勞夫所提出的身份理論中推導(dǎo)得出。第一章全面研究流散和少數(shù)族裔這兩個關(guān)鍵詞的定義和區(qū)別,簡要介紹美國的移民史以及流散群體和少數(shù)族裔的形成,討論美國流散文學(xué),并重點(diǎn)介紹阿拉伯裔美國文學(xué),及其形成和發(fā)展。第二章探討莫賈·卡夫的處女作《戴橘紅色圍巾的女孩》。這部處女作是一部教育小說,講述了主人公卡德拉走向成熟和自我實(shí)現(xiàn)的歷程。...
