【摘要】：該論文通過定性的方法研究了宗教與靈性對患精神疾病的多倫多華人及其家屬的作用。本文主要采用了民族志的研究方法,在大多倫多都會(huì)區(qū)通過實(shí)地考察取得了直接來自研究對象的口述材料。這篇論文還包括對前人取得的一手材料的深入文本分析。研究結(jié)果表明,以基督教為代表的宗教及靈性對多倫多華人有塑造身份、融入主流社會(huì)與文化、提供安慰(宗教場所及人際關(guān)系方面面)、宣揚(yáng)自助、以及架起病人與家屬溝通橋梁等積極作用。然而,宗教的陳規(guī)教條、等級制度和家人對其不當(dāng)?shù)氖褂枚加锌赡芗又夭∪说牟∏椤?br/>[Abstract]:This paper studies the effects of religion and spirituality on the Chinese and their families in Toronto with mental illness by qualitative method. In this paper, the ethnographic research method is adopted, and oral materials directly from the subjects are obtained through field study in the metropolitan area of Toronto. This paper also includes an in-depth textual analysis of the first hand materials obtained by the predecessors. The results show that the religion and spirituality represented by Christianity have shaped the identity of the ethnic Chinese in Toronto, integrated into mainstream society and culture, provided comfort (religious places and interpersonal aspects), and advocated self-help. And erects the patient and the family member to communicate the bridge and so on the positive function. However, religious stereotypes, hierarchies, and improper family use can exacerbate the patient's condition.
