中古時期五臺山信仰的傳播路徑考——以中古時期的五臺山“巡禮”和“化現(xiàn)故事”為中心

【摘要】：南北朝以降,五臺山逐漸成為文殊菩薩道場,也成為了東亞佛教世界中的重要信仰中心。五臺山信仰最初只是流布在五臺山及其周邊地區(qū)的區(qū)域性信仰,而到了中晚唐時期,則發(fā)展成為全國性乃至世界性信仰。這一信仰的擴(kuò)展過程,更多是層累的造成。這一過程中,巡禮僧的傳播主體作用,口頭、文本、圖像等的傳播媒介作用,長安、洛陽在傳播路線上的中心地位,都值得重視。藉此,可以更為清晰地認(rèn)識到中古時期五臺山信仰從區(qū)域性信仰發(fā)展為全國性乃至國際性信仰過程中的傳播階段和路徑。
[Abstract]:In the Southern and Northern dynasties, Mount Wutai gradually became the Manjushri Bodhisattva Center and an important center of belief in the East Asian Buddhist world. At first, the belief of Wutai Mountain was only a regional belief in and around Mount Wutai, but in the middle and late Tang Dynasty, it developed into a national and even world belief. The spreading process of this belief is more caused by layer tiredness. In this process, the main role of the monk, oral, text, image, the role of communication media, Changan, Luoyang in the communication line, the central position, are worthy of attention. In this way, we can clearly understand the spreading stage and path of Wutai Mountain belief from regional belief to national and even international belief in the middle ancient times.
