從“故國(guó)”到“新朝”——明清之際桐城士人的地方自覺與國(guó)家認(rèn)知

【摘要】:明清易代之際,國(guó)家形象在桐城士人中經(jīng)歷了裂變與重建。明末桐城社會(huì)戰(zhàn)事頻仍,桐城士庶在時(shí)局動(dòng)蕩中,結(jié)成了"地方共同體",表現(xiàn)出了強(qiáng)烈的地方保護(hù)意識(shí)。而國(guó)家在維護(hù)地方社會(huì)秩序的過程中,由于權(quán)力的腐敗,未能起到保護(hù)地方社會(huì)的作用,反而在戰(zhàn)略戰(zhàn)術(shù)、軍餉等問題上,與地方社會(huì)產(chǎn)生了利益糾葛,從而更強(qiáng)化了桐城士人的內(nèi)聚力,最終使有明一代的國(guó)家形象不斷在士人中被弱化、瓦解。當(dāng)明清易代完成后,清廷并沒有強(qiáng)制消弭士人的這種地方自覺,而是通過制度性的建構(gòu)使之逐漸植入了"新朝"的權(quán)威,"新朝"的國(guó)家形象也在這一過程中得以重建。桐城士人在從"故國(guó)"到"新朝"的歷史進(jìn)程中,折射了古代地方士人與中央王朝變革互動(dòng)的一個(gè)思想史面相。
[Abstract]:At the time of the change of Ming and Qing dynasties, the national image experienced fission and reconstruction among the scholars in Tongcheng. In the late Ming Dynasty, Tongcheng scholars formed a "local community", showing a strong sense of local protection. In the process of maintaining local social order, the state failed to play a role in protecting the local society because of corruption of power. On the contrary, it had a conflict of interests with the local society on such issues as strategy and tactics, military pay, and so on. It strengthened the cohesion of the scholars in Tongcheng and finally weakened the national image of the Ming Dynasty. After the change of the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Qing government did not force to eliminate the local consciousness of the scholars, but gradually implanted the authority of the "new dynasty" through the institutional construction, and the national image of the "new dynasty" was rebuilt in this process. In the historical process from "the old country" to "the new dynasty", the scholars in Tongcheng reflected an ideological history of the interaction between the ancient local scholars and the central dynasty.
