【摘要】：美國移民政策是永遠活躍的話題,在過去幾十年里各任總統(tǒng)都為此付出了巨大心力。由于2008年經濟危機以及現有移民系統(tǒng)的殘缺,進行移民改革已經刻不容緩。奧巴馬總統(tǒng)上臺時承諾會與國會合作,為非法移民尋求一條獲得永久居民權的通道并在接下來的六年中為實現這一目標而付出努力。但是奧巴馬的這一惠及千百萬非法移民的改革目標從提出之始就飽受爭議,遭到部分當地白人,非裔美國人及共和黨的強烈反對及譴責,幾乎他的每項重大移民舉措都伴隨著反對與批評,但他從沒有妥協(xié),在呼吁立法無果的情況下,始終堅持進行非法移民改革。本文以此為切入點,嘗試從美國社會層面,民主黨的黨派政治以及奧巴馬的個人抱負三個方面來依次深入分析奧巴馬總統(tǒng)堅持進行非法移民改革的原因,并以此期待對奧巴馬的非法移民改革有一個全面透徹的了解。通過分析,作者認為奧巴馬堅持進行非法移民改革有以下三個原因:首先,從美國社會層面來說,非法移民改革有利于緩解美國目前面臨的許多問題。其次,從執(zhí)政黨層面來說,非法移民改革的進行與民主黨的黨派利益是一致的。最后,從奧巴馬個人方面來說,非法移民改革符合奧巴馬的個人抱負。因此,基于對以上三個方面的考慮,奧巴馬堅持進行非法移民改革。
