作為美國(guó)人口增長(zhǎng)速度最快的少數(shù)族裔,西裔移民現(xiàn)已超過(guò)非裔成為美國(guó)最大的少數(shù)族裔集團(tuán)。隨著西裔人口的迅速膨脹,這一族裔對(duì)美國(guó)社會(huì)的各個(gè)方面都產(chǎn)生了重大影響。本文分析了墨西哥裔、波多黎各裔、古巴裔這三支主要的西裔族群在美國(guó)的歷史和現(xiàn)狀,在此基礎(chǔ)上綜合分析了西裔族群在經(jīng)濟(jì)、政治和文化三個(gè)方面對(duì)美國(guó)社會(huì)的影響。首先,作者從西裔對(duì)美國(guó)的勞動(dòng)力供給貢獻(xiàn)、西裔的經(jīng)濟(jì)收入及購(gòu)買(mǎi)力、西裔在美擁有的企業(yè)幾個(gè)方面分析了西裔對(duì)美國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的貢獻(xiàn)和影響,并在分析西裔人口年齡結(jié)構(gòu)的基礎(chǔ)上闡述了西裔移民未來(lái)對(duì)美國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的影響；其次,在西裔對(duì)美國(guó)的政治影響部分,作者首先介紹了影響美國(guó)少數(shù)族裔參與政治的因素,從歷史發(fā)展的角度分析了西裔在美國(guó)日益增強(qiáng)的政治影響一從政治上幾乎沒(méi)有影響逐步過(guò)度到影響地方政治和全國(guó)范圍的政治。文章闡釋了西裔對(duì)美國(guó)總統(tǒng)大選的影響,并以2008年總統(tǒng)大選為例,具體分析了其對(duì)2008年大選的影響；最后,文章從美國(guó)第一大外語(yǔ)西班牙語(yǔ)對(duì)教育及其他社會(huì)生活的影響、娛樂(lè)文化、價(jià)值觀、體育運(yùn)動(dòng)等幾個(gè)方面分析了西裔對(duì)美國(guó)文化的影響。并在此基礎(chǔ)上探討了西裔移民融入美國(guó)主流文化緩慢的原因。作者認(rèn)為：雖然西裔移民在經(jīng)濟(jì)、政...
