古羅馬飲宴研究

【摘要】: 本文較為系統(tǒng)地考察了古代羅馬的飲宴情況,并分析了其發(fā)展變化的原因和社會文化功能。作為古羅馬人日常生活的重要方面,飲宴的變化深刻地反映了羅馬共和國以及羅馬帝國時期社會、政治、經(jīng)濟與文化。對它的研究有助于我們從更深層次上理解和把握古羅馬社會的基本特征和羅馬帝國衰落的原因。 本文第一章首先考察了羅馬共和前期人們飲食的情況和特點,強調(diào)了這一階段羅馬人飲食的儉樸主要是當時特定歷史條件的產(chǎn)物。第二章著重介紹了羅馬共和末期至帝國時期人們飲宴情況的變化,尤其是古羅馬貴族的飲宴情況。眾多貴族和一部分平民沉迷于奢華的宴會是這一時期的主要特征。接著,本文分析了飲宴發(fā)生這一變化的原因,指出財富的大量涌入是促使這種變化的內(nèi)在根本原因,而東方文化,尤其是古希臘文化的傳播以及外來威脅的解除是其外部因素。第三章對古羅馬飲宴產(chǎn)生的意義和影響進行了探討,指出它一方面是古羅馬人政治社會生活的重要方面。另一方面,這種變化對社會財富造成了巨大的浪費,也加速了當時羅馬社會的道德滑坡。因此,在筆者看來,對于古羅馬飲宴應(yīng)該全面辯證地看待,而不能一概而論。
[Abstract]:This paper makes a systematic investigation of the banquet in ancient Rome, and analyzes the reasons for its development and its social and cultural functions. As an important aspect of the daily life of the ancient Romans, the changes of the feast profoundly reflect the society, politics, economy and culture of the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire. The study of it helps us to understand and grasp the basic characteristics of ancient Roman society and the reasons for the decline of Roman Empire. The first chapter of this paper first examines the situation and characteristics of people's diet in the early Roman Republic, and emphasizes that the frugality of Roman diet at this stage is mainly the product of specific historical conditions at that time. The second chapter focuses on the changes of people's banquet from the end of the Roman Republic to the Empire, especially the banquet of the ancient Roman aristocracy. Many aristocrats and some civilians indulged in extravagant banquets were the main features of this period. Then, this paper analyzes the causes of this change, and points out that the influx of wealth is the internal root cause of this change, and the spread of eastern culture, especially the ancient Greek culture, and the release of external threats are its external factors. The third chapter discusses the significance and influence of ancient Roman banquet, and points out that it is an important aspect of ancient Roman's political and social life on the one hand. On the other hand, this change caused a great waste of social wealth and accelerated the moral decline of Roman society at that time. Therefore, in the author's opinion, the ancient Roman feast should be viewed dialectically, not generalize.
