【摘要】：英國中產(chǎn)階級產(chǎn)生于傳統(tǒng)向現(xiàn)代的轉(zhuǎn)型時期,其價值取向融合了上層貴族和下層平民的美德,通過文學(xué)作品得以強(qiáng)化和傳播。紳士概念的變化揭示了中產(chǎn)階級對于身份認(rèn)同的訴求,也展示出文學(xué)話語對主流意識形態(tài)的形塑作用;郊區(qū)住宅的興起體現(xiàn)了中產(chǎn)階級對城市問題的擔(dān)憂,他們試圖借助空間隔離擺脫城市貧民的不良影響,維持體面生活。
[Abstract]:The British middle class came into being in the transition period from traditional to modern. Its value orientation combined the virtues of the upper aristocrats and the lower common people, and strengthened and disseminated through literary works. The change of the concept of gentleman reveals the middle class's demand for identity and the shaping effect of literary discourse on the mainstream ideology. The rise of suburban housing reflects the concerns of the middle class over urban problems, trying to escape the adverse effects of the urban poor through spatial isolation and to maintain a decent life.
