【摘要】：爆發(fā)于1899年至1902年結束的英布戰(zhàn)爭是一場具有多重意義的世紀之戰(zhàn),它不僅改變了英國的海外擴張格局和布爾人及南非的命運,也對參戰(zhàn)國產(chǎn)生了深刻影響。出于與英國的特殊關系、自身安全的需要、對南非政局判斷的偏差以及國內(nèi)反戰(zhàn)力量薄弱等方面的因素,新西蘭成為第一個參戰(zhàn)的英殖民地國家,并從軍事、醫(yī)療、教育和物資保障等方面積極援助英國。新西蘭的參戰(zhàn)及其表現(xiàn)導致其國內(nèi)的愛國主義思想空前高漲、婦女社會地位明顯提高,與英國的關系卻日趨疏遠,直至徹底自治獨立。
[Abstract]:The British-Brazilians War, which broke out from 1899 to 1902, was a century war with many meanings. It not only changed the British overseas expansion pattern and the fate of Boer people and South Africa, but also had a profound influence on the war taking place in China. Due to its special relationship with Britain, the need for its own security, the bias in its judgment on the political situation in South Africa and the weakness of its domestic anti-war forces, New Zealand became the first British colonial country to take part in the war, and from the military to medical treatment, Education and material support and other aspects of active assistance to the United Kingdom. New Zealand's participation in the war and its manifestations led to an unprecedented upsurge in patriotism, a marked rise in the status of women in society, and a growing alienation from the United Kingdom until it became fully autonomous and independent.
