【摘要】：英國人因精神、文化方面的需求而前往歐洲大陸游歷的做法由來已久,可以追溯到羅馬不列顛時代。在中世紀,英國人除因外交、軍事和商業(yè)等原因而旅行外,還以朝圣者、騎士和學者等身份前往歐陸。近代之初,認知的變化、人文主義理念的影響、紳士教育重點的轉變及國際外交實踐的影響,催生了新型的教育旅行。到17世紀中后期和18世紀,上層社會的政治經(jīng)濟需求、紳士階層提高自身素養(yǎng)的需要以及部分英國人對自身生活習性的反思,讓拉塞爾斯提出的"大旅行"觀念得到了更多的認可和踐履,"大旅行"成為英國教育旅行傳統(tǒng)的重要組成部分。
[Abstract]:The British travel to the Continent because of spiritual and cultural needs, dating back to the Roman British era.In the Middle Ages, the British traveled to Europe as pilgrims, knights and scholars in addition to diplomatic, military and commercial reasons.At the beginning of modern times, the change of cognition, the influence of humanism, the change of emphasis of gentleman education and the influence of international diplomatic practice gave birth to a new type of educational travel.By the middle and late 17th century and the 18th century, the political and economic needs of the upper class, the need for the gentry to improve their own literacy, and the reflection of some British people on their own living habits,The concept of "big travel" put forward by Russell has gained more recognition and practice, and it has become an important part of the tradition of educational travel in Britain.
