【摘要】：英國醫(yī)士來拉等人在19世紀中期所著的《西藥大成》一書,是西方近代醫(yī)藥學轉(zhuǎn)型時期最重要的本草著作之一,也是19世紀后期在中國翻譯的最大型的域外藥學著作。《西藥大成》中提及了四位與中國藥物有關(guān)的人員和一部中醫(yī)著作,并從藥物的產(chǎn)地和對外貿(mào)易等角度敘述了一些中國的藥物,體現(xiàn)了當時西方學者對中國藥物的書寫和認知。在《西藥大成》所呈現(xiàn)的相關(guān)敘事中不難發(fā)現(xiàn),中醫(yī)藥知識在全球化時代早期的中西文化交流所編織的醫(yī)學知識網(wǎng)絡(luò)中,已經(jīng)開始了被邊緣化的趨勢。只有把近現(xiàn)代的中醫(yī)藥知識放到東西方交流的大網(wǎng)絡(luò)中,才能辨析其在近現(xiàn)代世界醫(yī)學中的角色、地位和分量。
