【摘要】：1964~1965年越南戰(zhàn)爭升級期間,美國中央情報(bào)局以"特別國家情報(bào)評估"的形式對中國的意圖、可能的舉措等進(jìn)行了一系列評估。中情局的評估雖有誤斷和臆斷之處,但對中國應(yīng)對戰(zhàn)爭升級基本舉措的分析和判斷還是比較客觀的,總體上把握了中國直接參戰(zhàn)的"底線",為約翰遜政府選擇逐步升級戰(zhàn)略提供了有力的支撐。
[Abstract]:During the escalation of the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1965, the CIA conducted a series of evaluations of China's intentions and possible measures in the form of "Special National Intelligence Assessment".Although the CIA's assessment has errors and assumptions, its analysis and judgment on China's basic measures to cope with the escalation of the war are still relatively objective.As a whole, it grasps the "bottom line" of China's direct participation in the war, which provides a strong support for the Johnson administration to choose the strategy of gradual upgrading.
