【摘要】：在當今美國社會,西班牙裔美國人長期遭遇來自美國社會方方面面的歧視,而新任第45屆美國總統(tǒng)唐納德·特朗普剛一上任便在移民政策上發(fā)難,即限制移民,然而此等發(fā)難表面上針對違法少數族裔移民,實際上引發(fā)少數族裔的恐慌,其中西班牙裔移民中的墨西哥裔移民更是首當其沖。在此大背景的背后是隨著近幾十年西班牙裔移民的人口急劇增加,引發(fā)美國保守精英階層對其自身族裔統(tǒng)治地位的擔憂,便借西班牙裔移民的民族差異性,及其相關社會屬性比如受教育水平,經濟能力,高犯罪率來做文章,所以他們認為西班牙裔移民對美國社會是威脅,進而對美國國家身份認同起到分裂的威脅,同時他們不認為西班牙裔移民群體會融入到美國社會。而筆者通過深入研究發(fā)現,首先,西班牙裔移民自身的民族屬性是合理的,尤其是在當今以多元文化主義思潮背景下的美國,美國民族身份認同就應該是更加廣義層面上的。其次,很多合理的民族差異性被盲目夸大為對美國民族認同的分裂。再次,筆者特別從西班牙裔美國人內部因素和外部社會環(huán)境考察,認為西班牙裔美國人在近半個世紀自身的進步是極為顯著,而恰恰是不平等的美國社會體系威脅西班牙裔移民的生存,而其帶來的身心危害對西班牙裔移民融入美國社會是一種阻礙,而這種不平等體系由少數擔憂的保守精英階層建立,又影響了美國主流社會人群的想法,這種擔憂的想法就是一種針對西班牙裔移民的新種族主義,就是種族歧視。進而這種群體思想又上升到法律層面,從而形成了不良循環(huán)。總之,本文意為西班牙裔美國人正名,徹底反駁西班牙裔美國人是未來美國內部民族認同分裂驅動力的謬論。西班牙裔美國人在美國經濟,教育上都是取得進步的為美國社會做出貢獻。
[Abstract]:In today's American society, Hispanics have long been subject to discrimination from all aspects of American society, and the new 45th president, Donald Trump, has struggled with immigration policy as soon as he took office, namely, restrictions on immigration.But such attacks, ostensibly directed at illegal minority immigrants, have actually triggered panic among minorities, with Mexicans among Hispanic immigrants bearing the brunt.Behind this background is the ethnic diversity of Hispanic immigrants, as the population of Hispanic immigrants has increased dramatically in recent decades, causing concern among the conservative elite in the United States about their ethnic dominance.And related social attributes such as education, economic ability, and high crime rates, so they think Hispanic immigrants are a threat to American society, and thus to the United States' national identity.At the same time, they do not believe that Hispanic immigrants will be integrated into American society.The author finds that, first of all, the national identity of Hispanic immigrants is reasonable, especially in the United States under the background of multiculturalism, American national identity should be on a broader level.Secondly, many reasonable national differences are blindly exaggerated as the division of American national identity.Thirdly, from the perspective of the internal factors and the external social environment of Hispanic Americans, the author thinks that the progress of Hispanic Americans in the past half century is extremely remarkable.It is precisely the unequal American social system that threatens the survival of Hispanic immigrants, and the physical and mental harm it poses to the integration of Hispanic immigrants into American society, which is set up by a small number of worried conservative elites.It also influenced mainstream American thinking, a new racism against Hispanic immigrants and racial discrimination.Then this kind of group thought rises to the legal level again, thus formed the bad circulation.In a word, this paper means Hispanic Americans to correct their name and refute the fallacy that Hispanic Americans are the driving force of the future split of national identity in the United States.Hispanic Americans have made progress in the American economy and education, contributing to American society.
