　　動機是影響外語學習成功與否的主要因素之一,它決定著學習者在英語學習過程中的參與性與持久性。然而,在學習的過程中,受到某些因素的影響,某些學生的學習動機會逐漸減退甚至消失。因此,越來越多的學者將研究重點從學習動機轉(zhuǎn)向了學習動機消退。目前,大部分研究聚焦于漢族學生,鮮少以蒙古族初中生為研究對象。因此,開展相關研究對正處于困境中的蒙古族外語學習者具有重要意義。本文旨在探討農(nóng)村蒙古族初中生英語學習動機衰退現(xiàn)狀。本研究提出三個研究問題:1)農(nóng)村蒙古族初中生英語學習動機衰退現(xiàn)狀如何;2)農(nóng)村蒙古族初中生英語學習動機衰退因素在不同年級之間是否存在差異;3)農(nóng)村蒙古族初中生英語學習動機衰退因素在不同學業(yè)成績之間是否存在差異。筆者選取了內(nèi)蒙古自治區(qū)興安盟某蒙古族中學全校300名學生為本次研究對象,采用了定量研究和定性研究相結合的方法,包括課堂觀察、問卷調(diào)查和訪談。首先,筆者運用課堂觀察量表進行英語課堂觀察;其次,對學生老師以及家長進行了訪談。最后,筆者發(fā)放問卷并運用SPSS（22.0）進行分析。研究結果表明:首先,農(nóng)村蒙族初中生英語學習中動機衰退強度較高。其次,農(nóng)村蒙古族初中生不同年級之間動機衰退在學生...
