英文學(xué)術(shù)著作封底簡(jiǎn)介的評(píng)價(jià)理論研究

【摘要】:隨著知識(shí)的不斷改革和信息的快速更新,出版業(yè)的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)越來(lái)越激烈。顯然英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)篇也需要“推銷”,因此英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介的作用越來(lái)越重要。本文旨在通過(guò)體裁結(jié)構(gòu)理論和評(píng)價(jià)理論探討英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介的推銷功能。 本文采用Swales體裁結(jié)構(gòu)理論從宏觀角度分析英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介的語(yǔ)類結(jié)構(gòu)。采用30篇英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介和30篇英語(yǔ)生物學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介作對(duì)比,利用語(yǔ)步-話步模式分析二者得出必選語(yǔ)步/話步,可選語(yǔ)步/話步,并分析每個(gè)語(yǔ)步,話步在英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介中的功能。本文同時(shí)還運(yùn)用馬丁評(píng)價(jià)理論中的態(tài)度系統(tǒng),介入系統(tǒng)和級(jí)差系統(tǒng)從詞匯語(yǔ)法微觀角度對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介進(jìn)行分析。二者理論相結(jié)合更全面的分析了英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介。 通過(guò)體裁結(jié)構(gòu)理論我們發(fā)現(xiàn)英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底的體裁結(jié)構(gòu):“語(yǔ)步1標(biāo)題;語(yǔ)步2介紹書(shū)籍,話步2A介紹書(shū)籍主題,話步2B介紹書(shū)籍內(nèi)容;語(yǔ)步3評(píng)價(jià)書(shū)籍,話步3A介紹書(shū)籍價(jià)值,話步3B介紹書(shū)籍讀者,話步3C引用名人名言或消費(fèi)者的推薦詞;語(yǔ)步4簡(jiǎn)要介紹作者或編者!闭Z(yǔ)步分析和統(tǒng)計(jì)結(jié)果表明英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介和英語(yǔ)生物學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介的必選語(yǔ)步,話步和可選語(yǔ)步,話步相同。語(yǔ)步2,語(yǔ)步3為必選語(yǔ)步,話步2B,話步3A為必選話步,其余為可選語(yǔ)步,話步。作者或出版商根據(jù)具體的交際情境和目的,有選擇的使用語(yǔ)步,話步以實(shí)現(xiàn)其人際功能。 通過(guò)評(píng)價(jià)理論分析,得出以下結(jié)論:(1)三個(gè)次系統(tǒng)在二者中出現(xiàn)頻率從高到低都相同,依次為態(tài)度,級(jí)差和介入。(2)在態(tài)度資源中,二者鑒賞資源頻率都遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)高于情感和判斷,以突顯英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介寫作的客觀性。英語(yǔ)生物學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介的鑒賞資源頻率高于語(yǔ)言學(xué)的,而語(yǔ)言學(xué)的情感資源頻率高于生物學(xué)的,這說(shuō)明英語(yǔ)言學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介更注重讓讀者如何選擇書(shū)籍,而生物學(xué)更注重書(shū)籍的學(xué)術(shù)價(jià)值,研究方法以及書(shū)籍的優(yōu)勢(shì)。二者的肯定態(tài)度資源都遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)高于否定態(tài)度資源。(3)在介入系統(tǒng)中,二者的對(duì)話擴(kuò)張頻率都高于對(duì)話壓縮頻率,最明顯的區(qū)別是英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言學(xué)的引用資源高于生物學(xué)。(4)在級(jí)差系統(tǒng)中,二者的語(yǔ)勢(shì)頻率都高于聚焦。二者在語(yǔ)勢(shì)和聚焦頻率對(duì)比上沒(méi)有很大差異。 總之,對(duì)語(yǔ)言學(xué)和生物學(xué)英語(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介的對(duì)比分析,一方面證明了評(píng)價(jià)理論是解讀語(yǔ)篇中作者態(tài)度,立場(chǎng)的有力工具,另一方面希望研究結(jié)果能夠?yàn)橛⒄Z(yǔ)學(xué)術(shù)書(shū)籍封底簡(jiǎn)介的寫作提供建議并引起出版業(yè)對(duì)其人際功能的重視。
[Abstract]:With the constant reform of knowledge and the rapid updating of information, the competition of publishing industry is becoming more and more fierce. Obviously, English academic texts also need to be "promoted", so the role of English academic books in back-cover is becoming more and more important. The purpose of this paper is to explore the marketing function of English academic books by genre structure theory and evaluation theory. In this paper, Swales genre structure theory is used to analyze the genre structure of English academic books. A comparison was made between 30 English academic books on linguistics and 30 on English biology, and the analysis of the two methods was carried out to obtain the necessary step / speech step, the optional step / step, and the analysis of each step. The function of the word step in the introduction to the back cover of English academic books. At the same time, this paper uses attitude system, intervention system and differential system in Martin evaluation theory to analyze the background of English academic books from the perspective of lexical grammar. Combined with the two theories, this paper analyzes the background of English academic books in a more comprehensive way. Based on the theory of genre structure, we find out the genre structure of English academic books: "step 1 title, step 2 introduces books, step 2A introduces the subject of books, step 2B introduces the content of books, step 3 evaluates books," Step 3A introduces the value of the book, step 3B introduces the reader of the book, step 3C refers to famous quotes or consumer recommendations; step 4 briefly introduces the author or editor. " The results of step analysis and statistical analysis show that the necessary language steps, the speech steps and the optional language steps are the same as those of the English linguistics academic books and the English biology academic books. Step 2, step 3 is the necessary step, step 2 B, step 3A is the necessary step, the rest is optional step. According to the specific communication situation and purpose, the author or publisher chooses to use verbal step to realize their interpersonal function. Through the analysis of evaluation theory, the following conclusions are drawn: (1) the frequency of the three sub-systems in the two systems is the same from high to low, followed by attitude, difference and intervention. (2) in attitude resources, the frequency of appreciation resources between them is far higher than that of emotion and judgment. In order to highlight the English academic books cover the objectivity of writing. The frequency of appreciation resources is higher than that of linguistics, and the frequency of affective resources of linguistics is higher than that of biology. This shows that the background profile of English academic books pays more attention to how readers choose books. But biology pays more attention to the academic value of books, research methods and the advantages of books. The positive attitude resources of both are far higher than the negative attitude resources. (3) in the intervention system, the frequency of dialogue expansion is higher than that of dialogue compression, and the most obvious difference is that the cited resources in English linguistics are higher than those in biology. (4) in the differential system, The potential frequency of both is higher than that of focus. There is no significant difference between the two groups in terms of potential and focusing frequency. In a word, the contrastive analysis of the background of academic books in linguistics and biology proves that evaluation theory is a powerful tool for interpreting the author's attitude and position in a text. On the other hand, it is hoped that the research results can provide advice for the writing of the English academic book cover profile and arouse the attention of the publishing industry to its interpersonal function.
