摘　　要：介紹下一代圖書館自動化系統(tǒng)產(chǎn)生的背景及其在國外的實踐情況，主要包括Alma、Sierra、Kuati—OLE、WMS、Intota和Open Skies等系統(tǒng)的研發(fā)現(xiàn)狀、開發(fā)方式、部署方式、功能及其他特點，最后指出下一代圖書館自動化系統(tǒng)的發(fā)展趨勢。

This article introduces the origin and the practice of the next generation integrated library system abroad, including the systems named Alma, Sierra, Kuali-OLE, WMS, Intota and Open Skies. Several aspects of these systems are analyzed： the development stages, the development and deployment methods, the functions and the characteristics of the systems, etc. Finally, this article discusses the trends of the next generation integrated library systems.
