【摘要】：體系結(jié)構(gòu)模擬技術(shù)在計(jì)算機(jī)體系結(jié)構(gòu)研究和系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)中發(fā)揮著重要作用.通過(guò)對(duì)計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)的建模、仿真及評(píng)估,科研人員可以驗(yàn)證新型體系結(jié)構(gòu)設(shè)計(jì);將該技術(shù)導(dǎo)入產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)則可以優(yōu)化系統(tǒng)方案、降低設(shè)計(jì)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)并提升開(kāi)發(fā)效率.隨著半導(dǎo)體工藝的迅速提升,分布式共享內(nèi)存計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)已步入千核時(shí)代,處理器微結(jié)構(gòu)、存儲(chǔ)層次、片間互連及cache一致性協(xié)議等對(duì)系統(tǒng)性能的影響愈發(fā)復(fù)雜,對(duì)體系結(jié)構(gòu)模擬技術(shù)也提出更高挑戰(zhàn).本文依據(jù)計(jì)算機(jī)體系結(jié)構(gòu)模擬技術(shù)特征,從精度、速度、可用性和易用性四個(gè)方面對(duì)現(xiàn)有體系結(jié)構(gòu)模擬技術(shù)進(jìn)行了分析、總結(jié).針對(duì)計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)發(fā)展趨勢(shì)與當(dāng)前模擬器存在的問(wèn)題,歸納了體系結(jié)構(gòu)模擬技術(shù)面臨的挑戰(zhàn),進(jìn)而提出了未來(lái)體系結(jié)構(gòu)模擬技術(shù)發(fā)展的4A理論.
[Abstract]:Architecture simulation plays an important role in the research and design of computer architecture. Through modeling, simulation and evaluation of computer system, researchers can verify the new architecture design, and introduce this technology into product design to optimize system scheme, reduce design risk and improve development efficiency. With the rapid development of semiconductor technology, distributed shared memory computer systems have entered the era of thousands of cores. The effects of processor microstructures, memory layers, interconnections between chips and cache consistency protocols on the performance of the system become more and more complex. It also poses a higher challenge to architecture simulation technology. According to the characteristics of computer architecture simulation technology, this paper analyzes and summarizes the existing architecture simulation technology from four aspects: precision, speed, usability and ease of use. In view of the development trend of computer system and the problems existing in the current simulator, the challenges of architecture simulation technology are summarized, and the 4A theory of architecture simulation technology development in the future is put forward.
