液晶填充碲酸鹽光子晶體光纖偏振旋轉器

【摘要】:提出一種液晶填充碲酸鹽玻璃的柚子型光子晶體光纖偏振旋轉器,利用全矢量有限元法,對液晶填充碲酸鹽玻璃的柚子型光子晶體光纖的偏振旋轉特性進行數(shù)值模擬,并分析了光纖結構參數(shù)、環(huán)境溫度、工作波長等對光纖偏振旋轉特性的影響.研究結果表明:此種偏振旋轉器具有較高的旋轉效率、較低的工作串擾和較短的旋轉長度,在工作波長為1.55μm、偏振角度為45°時,其值分別達到99.947%、-32.84dB和197μm;另外,隨著光纖薄壁厚度的增加,旋轉長度隨之升高,隨著工作波長的變大,旋轉長度隨之降低,隨著溫度的增加,旋轉長度隨之升高.這種新型的光子晶體光纖為偏振旋轉器的研發(fā)提供了參考.
[Abstract]:A grapefruit photonic crystal fiber polarization rotator with liquid crystal filled tellurite glass is proposed. The polarization rotation characteristics of grapefruit photonic crystal fiber filled with liquid crystal tellurite glass are numerically simulated by full vector finite element method.The effects of fiber structure parameters, ambient temperature and operating wavelength on the polarization rotation characteristics of the fiber are analyzed.The results show that the polarization rotator has higher rotation efficiency, lower crosstalk and shorter rotation length. When the working wavelength is 1.55 渭 m and the polarization angle is 45 擄, its values are 99.947 ~ 32.84 dB and 197 渭 m, respectively.With the increase of the thickness of thin-walled fiber, the rotation length increases, the rotation length decreases with the increase of the working wavelength, and the rotation length increases with the increase of temperature.This new photonic crystal fiber provides a reference for the development of polarization rotator.
