本翻譯實踐報告主要以克勞德·香農的信息論和紐馬克的交際翻譯理論為理論基礎,總結對國外政治經濟學書籍A World of Struggle:How Power,Law,and Expertise Shape Global Political Economy一書引言部分翻譯中所采取的翻譯策略和技巧。該書為全球治理的復雜性提供了一個內部人士觀點,揭示政治和經濟生活中專業(yè)知識扮演的角色,專家治理如何影響全球政治經濟。此次翻譯實踐所選源文本主要概述專業(yè)知識如何運作以及如何與法律、權力共同影響全球政治經濟。源文本屬于信息型文本,用詞準確精煉,但是句型比較復雜,涉及多種長難句。在以上翻譯理論的指導下,筆者希望譯文能幫助讀者獲得一些政治經濟學知識。翻譯此類信息型文本的一項重要標準是以讀者為中心,充分考慮讀者的信道、信道容量、解碼能力與接受習慣等,使讀者能夠獲得與源文本讀者相似的閱讀體驗。譯者在翻譯過程中使用增加目標文本冗余成分、刪減源文本冗余成分和調整句子結構等方法力求達到這個效果。報告主要由四個部分組成:項目介紹、源文本分析、翻譯難點和總結。
