[Abstract]:"Communists are bricks, where they need to move." Yang Daiqiong, first secretary of the central village of Gongquan Town in Gongxian County, Sichuan Province, is such a brick. In December 2016, she retired from her post as secretary of the Yuhe Township Party Committee and secretary of the Party Group of the County Finance Bureau, in Gongxian County. Again "out of the mountain" to the county town more than 20 kilometers away from the central village as provincial poverty village first secretary. An informed colleague joked: "other people's' officials' are getting bigger, your 'officials' are getting smaller." But she said frankly: "the task of overcoming poverty is very important. When the Party organization needs me and the people in the central village need me, I have the responsibility to do so for the villagers."
