【摘要】：泰勒莊園糾紛是長(zhǎng)島州立公園委員會(huì)與長(zhǎng)島富豪之間圍繞地產(chǎn)開發(fā)產(chǎn)生的糾紛,前者希望將莊園改造為公園,但遭到后者反對(duì)。隨著政黨和媒體的介入,這一事件也逐步由法律案件演變?yōu)闄?quán)力斗爭(zhēng),成為共和黨與民主黨、精英與大眾角力的舞臺(tái),最終通過幕后交易得以解決。泰勒莊園糾紛是一扇觀察美國(guó)地方政治的窗口,揭示了地方政治和兩黨制的運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)規(guī)則,也反映了地方政府在城市開發(fā)過程中與房地產(chǎn)業(yè)主的利益糾葛。
[Abstract]:The Taylor estate dispute is a dispute over property development between the long Island State Park Council, which wants to transform the estate into a park, but is opposed by the long Island tycoon. With the involvement of political parties and the media, this incident has gradually evolved from a legal case to a power struggle, a stage in which the Republican Party and the Democratic Party, the elite and the masses wrestle with each other, and are finally resolved through behind-the-scenes transactions. Taylor Manor dispute is a window to observe American local politics, which reveals the rules of local politics and two-party system, and also reflects the conflicts between local government and real estate owners in the process of urban development.
