詞匯知識(shí)與閱讀理解能力的關(guān)系研究

詞匯是語(yǔ)言的基石,對(duì)于外語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)與教學(xué)是至關(guān)重要的。對(duì)詞匯知識(shí)的深入和廣泛掌握是外語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者的關(guān)鍵任務(wù)之一。閱讀和詞匯知識(shí)有著緊密的聯(lián)系。詞匯知識(shí)和閱讀是學(xué)生和英語(yǔ)老師共同面對(duì)的兩項(xiàng)英語(yǔ)知識(shí)和能力。為了探討詞匯知識(shí)和閱讀理解之間的確切關(guān)系,本文以Qian(2002)建立的詞匯知識(shí)框架為理論基礎(chǔ),以高二某班為研究對(duì)象,對(duì)他們進(jìn)行三次語(yǔ)言測(cè)試,每次均包括對(duì)他們?cè)~匯廣度知識(shí),詞匯深度知識(shí)以及閱讀理解能力。測(cè)試的成績(jī)作為原始數(shù)據(jù),利用SPSS 16.0軟件中的皮爾遜相關(guān)分析和多元回歸分析程序進(jìn)行分析處理,研究詞匯的深度和詞匯廣度以及閱讀理解能力三者之間的關(guān)系。本實(shí)驗(yàn)中的研究對(duì)象為筆者自己的學(xué)生,他們英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言能力水平相當(dāng)于大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四級(jí)所要求的水平。所有的試卷均以大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四級(jí)水平為參照設(shè)計(jì)。詞匯廣度測(cè)試是筆者基于Nation設(shè)計(jì)的Vocabulary Levels Test(VLT)的同時(shí),選取大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四級(jí)詞匯設(shè)計(jì)的。詞匯深度知識(shí)包括三個(gè)方面,一是Read于1998年設(shè)計(jì)的Word Associates Test為基礎(chǔ),選擇適合受試者水平的詞匯編寫(xiě)的詞匯搭配測(cè)試卷,另外兩項(xiàng)是近義詞和反義詞測(cè)試。閱讀理...
