上海外國語大學印度尼西亞留學生跨文化適應性研究

【摘要】:隨著全球化以無法阻擋的趨勢發(fā)展,跨文化研究已經成為一個重要的研究領域。而跨文化適應性作為跨文化研究課題之一,近來引起越來越多學者的關注。全球化發(fā)展的勢頭滲透各個方面,不僅在經濟、政治等方面帶來影響,本文著重研究的教育方面也首當其沖。來華學習的留學生以其數量上的優(yōu)勢和不斷的上升趨勢,成為構成短期移居人員不可或缺的一部分,本文旨在研究他們的跨文化適應性。為了增加研究的信度和效度,作者賦予此研究具體的研究條件,即上海外國語大學的印度尼西亞留學生。 通過對不同著名研究者跨文化適應性理論的回顧,作者最后把研究植根于Colleen Ward的跨文化理論。本文主要采用定量研究的方法進行研究。共有60位來自印度尼西亞的留學生參加此次研究。主要運用SPSS對收集的數據進行分析,涉及到不同的分析方法,,例如描述性數據分析,相關性分析,方差分析。最后作者對研究問題做出具體回答。結合問卷中測試的題目,主要有以下發(fā)現:(1)社會文化因素和心理因素都會對調查對象的跨文化適應性產生影響(2)這些因素呈現出復雜的相互關系,主要包括互相之間成正比和反比關系;調查對象顯示出很好的跨文化適應性(3)通過研究,為了使具有相似背景的留學生提高跨文化適應性,作者向上外的留學生項目和相關部門提供了相應建議,例如:更多的社會活動機會,心理問題納入討論范疇,添加文化課程設置以及延長留學周期。根據對調查對象目前的跨文化適應性狀況,作者也為未來中國大學留學生跨文化適應性研究提供了建議。希望其他相似的留學生項目能采用這些建議。 作者希望借此研究掌握上外留學生跨文化適應性的整體情況,改善他們的跨文化適應性,幫助他們面對由文化差異性導致的各種各樣的挑戰(zhàn)。
[Abstract]:With the development of globalization, cross-cultural research has become an important research field. As one of the cross-cultural research topics, cross-cultural adaptability has attracted more and more attention recently. The trend of globalization permeates all aspects, not only in economy and politics, but also in education. Foreign students studying in China have become an indispensable part of short-term migrants because of their advantages in quantity and rising trend. The purpose of this paper is to study their cross-cultural adaptability. In order to increase the reliability and validity of the study, the author has given the specific research conditions, namely, the Indonesian students from Shanghai Foreign Studies University. By reviewing the theories of cross-cultural adaptability of different famous researchers, the author finally bases his research on Colleen Ward's cross-cultural theory. This paper mainly adopts the quantitative research method to carry on the research. A total of 60 students from Indonesia participated in the study. SPSS is mainly used to analyze the collected data, which involves different analytical methods, such as descriptive data analysis, correlation analysis and variance analysis. Finally, the author gives specific answers to the research questions. Combined with the questions tested in the questionnaire, the following main findings are as follows: 1) Socio-cultural factors and psychological factors both have an impact on the cross-cultural adaptability of the subjects investigated. (2) these factors show complex interrelationships. The survey subjects showed good cross-cultural adaptability in order to improve cross-cultural adaptability of students with similar backgrounds. The author provides some suggestions for overseas students' programs and related departments, such as more social opportunities, psychological problems into the scope of discussion, the addition of cultural courses and the extension of the period of study. According to the current cross-cultural adaptability of the subjects, the author also provides suggestions for the future study of cross-cultural adaptability of Chinese university students. It is hoped that other similar programs will follow these recommendations. The author hopes to grasp the overall situation of cross-cultural adaptability of foreign students, improve their cross-cultural adaptability, and help them face various challenges caused by cultural differences.
