【摘要】：庚子賠款是中國(guó)近代遭受的深重災(zāi)難,需要向帝國(guó)主義列強(qiáng)支付巨額賠款,但美國(guó)政府在權(quán)衡自身利益后,率先決定退還部分賠款作為興學(xué)之用。通過(guò)對(duì)美國(guó)退款的緣由,款項(xiàng)資助的留學(xué)人群,及最終學(xué)成歸來(lái)的人才所做出的貢獻(xiàn)的研究可得出,各國(guó)退還的庚子賠款資助中國(guó)的教育及留學(xué)事業(yè),積極運(yùn)作為自己國(guó)家投資未來(lái)中國(guó)的過(guò)程中,無(wú)意中使中國(guó)走上了發(fā)展近代教育的道路,學(xué)成歸來(lái)的留學(xué)生成長(zhǎng)為中國(guó)近代教育的先導(dǎo),他們的努力和貢獻(xiàn)為中國(guó)近代教育培育了成長(zhǎng)的沃土。
[Abstract]:The Boxer indemnity is a serious disaster suffered by China in modern times, and it needs to pay a large amount of indemnity to the imperialist powers. However, after weighing its own interests, the United States government first decided to return part of the indemnity for the purpose of starting up the university. Based on a study of the reasons for the refund in the United States, the contributions made by the people studying abroad funded by the funds, and the contributions made by those who eventually returned from their studies, it can be concluded that all countries have returned the Boxer indemnity to fund the education and study abroad cause in China. In the process of actively operating and investing in future China for our country, we inadvertently made China embark on the road of developing modern education, and foreign students who returned from their studies grew up to be the pioneers of China's modern education. Their efforts and contributions cultivated fertile ground for modern Chinese education.
