警惕“做中學(xué)”:杜威參與理論辯正

【摘要】:"做中學(xué)"是對(duì)杜威教學(xué)方法的一種常見(jiàn)概括。而事實(shí)上,"做中學(xué)"并不是對(duì)杜威教學(xué)方法的一個(gè)精準(zhǔn)的概括。相反,"做中學(xué)"還誘導(dǎo)人們重蹈杜威早就提示過(guò)的一些錯(cuò)誤做法,比如追求淺薄興趣、偏重動(dòng)手操作、放松學(xué)術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)等。杜威的教學(xué)理論,強(qiáng)調(diào)學(xué)生對(duì)所學(xué)內(nèi)容的理解,強(qiáng)調(diào)活動(dòng)過(guò)程的理智色彩。一項(xiàng)活動(dòng)在教學(xué)上有沒(méi)有價(jià)值,要看這項(xiàng)活動(dòng)是不是能影響更多別的學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。活動(dòng)提供的直接經(jīng)驗(yàn),需要納入經(jīng)驗(yàn)的連續(xù)體當(dāng)中去。與"做中學(xué)"相比,"參與"是對(duì)杜威的上述教學(xué)思想的更適宜的概括。把"做中學(xué)"誤認(rèn)為杜威的教學(xué)主張,容易強(qiáng)化當(dāng)前學(xué)校教育界對(duì)于學(xué)生身體活動(dòng)的迷信。
[Abstract]:"learning by doing" is a common generalization of Dewey's teaching method. In fact, it is not a precise generalization of Dewey's teaching method. On the contrary, it also induces people to repeat Dewey's suggestion. Some of the wrong practices, Dewey's teaching theory emphasizes students' understanding of what they have learned and the rational color of the activity process. Is an activity valuable in teaching? To see if this activity can affect more other learning experiences. The direct experience provided by the activity, "participation" is a more appropriate generalization of Dewey's above-mentioned teaching thought than "doing learning". It is easy to strengthen the current superstition of students' physical activities in school education.
