【摘要】：“漢語熱”的出現(xiàn)使得越來越多外國人想要了解中國以及中國文化。文學(xué)作品作為文化的特殊載體,是民族文化的獨(dú)特寫照,它從側(cè)面反映了該國人民的思想和認(rèn)識。但是文學(xué)作品中的文化負(fù)載詞因?yàn)槌休d著中國的獨(dú)特文化而難以為母語非漢語的讀者所理解,對于這些詞的翻譯也成為翻譯界的難題。2012年,莫言憑借小說《蛙》成為第一位獲得諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)的中國本土作家,人們對于其作品的關(guān)注達(dá)到了空前的高度。本文旨在研究《蛙》中文化負(fù)載詞的英譯情況,在研究過程中以模因理論為指導(dǎo),借助問卷調(diào)查、訪談、文獻(xiàn)搜集、定量與定性相結(jié)合的等研究方法,探究Howard Goldblatt對《蛙》中文化負(fù)載詞的處理方式,同時(shí)對在華留學(xué)生對于文化負(fù)載詞的態(tài)度和熟悉情況以及對外漢語教學(xué)工作者針對文化負(fù)載詞所采取的教學(xué)方式進(jìn)行調(diào)查分析。通過研究得出如下結(jié)論:1.《蛙》的宿主(譯者)Howard Goldblatt對于五類文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯方式均以歸化策略為主,同時(shí)輔以異化策略。采用歸化策略時(shí),他主要采用意譯(釋義)法、仿譯法等進(jìn)行突變復(fù)制;采用異化策略時(shí),他對大量詞匯進(jìn)行了逐詞翻譯和直譯,做到了相似復(fù)制。2.通過對留學(xué)生進(jìn)行問卷調(diào)查,筆者得出對于文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯處理,應(yīng)盡量做到以相似復(fù)制為主,突變復(fù)制為輔,將異化策略與歸化策略結(jié)合起來,采用多種翻譯方法進(jìn)行模因復(fù)制。3.通過問卷調(diào)查及訪談,筆者得出留學(xué)生對于文化負(fù)載詞的熟悉情況并不樂觀,但是大部分留學(xué)生對于文化負(fù)載詞是比較感興趣的,包括意義、語法、相關(guān)文化等方面。教學(xué)方面,留學(xué)生認(rèn)為教師的教學(xué)方式過于單一,教學(xué)語言有待提高。最后,本文根據(jù)研究結(jié)果,從文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯以及對外漢語文化詞匯教學(xué)等方面提出了一些可行性的建議。
[Abstract]:The emergence of the mandarin craze has made more and more foreigners want to understand China and its culture. As a special carrier of culture, literary works are a unique portrayal of national culture. However, the culture-loaded words in literary works are difficult to be understood by non-Chinese native speakers because they bear the unique culture of China. The translation of these words has also become a difficult problem in the translation world. Mo Yan became the first native Chinese writer to win the Nobel Prize for Literature with his novel Frog. People pay more attention to his works than ever before. The purpose of this paper is to study the translation of culture-loaded words in Frog. In the course of the study, the research is guided by the meme theory, with the help of questionnaires, interviews, literature collection, quantitative and qualitative research methods. This paper probes into Howard Goldblatt's treatment of culture-loaded words in Frog, and analyzes the attitude and familiarity of foreign students on culture-loaded words in China, as well as the teaching methods adopted by teachers of Chinese as a foreign language in response to culture-loaded words. It is concluded that Howard Goldblatt's translation of the five culture-loaded words is based on domestication strategy and dissimilation strategy. When adopting the domestication strategy, he mainly adopts the free translation (interpretation) method, the imitation translation method and so on to carry on the mutation copy, while uses the dissimilation strategy, he has carried on the word by word translation and the literal translation to a large number of words, has achieved the similar copy. Through a questionnaire survey on foreign students, the author draws a conclusion that the translation of culture-loaded words should be based on similar replication, supplemented by mutation replication, and should be combined with foreignization strategy and domestication strategy. Multiple translation methods are used for meme replication. Through questionnaires and interviews, the author concludes that foreign students are not optimistic about the familiarity of culture-loaded words, but most of them are interested in culture-loaded words, including meaning, grammar, culture and so on. In the aspect of teaching, the foreign students think that the teaching method is too single and the teaching language needs to be improved. Finally, based on the results of the study, this paper puts forward some feasible suggestions on the translation of culture-loaded words and the teaching of cultural vocabulary in TCFL.
