隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化和科學(xué)技術(shù)的迅猛發(fā)展，中國(guó)獲取了更多的機(jī)會(huì)引進(jìn)和轉(zhuǎn)讓先進(jìn)的科學(xué)技術(shù)�？萍己贤捌浞g在我們的生活中變得越來越重要，但是對(duì)于英文科技合同的專門研究卻相對(duì)匱乏。為了解決這一問題，基于對(duì)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)英文科技合同中出現(xiàn)的典型范例的分析，對(duì)其文體特征做了具體、詳細(xì)的闡述。分別論述了英語(yǔ)合同的詞匯特征、句法及語(yǔ)法特征，和一些較特殊的表達(dá)方式。 科技合同屬于一種正式文體，長(zhǎng)期以來人們一致認(rèn)為翻譯合同文件應(yīng)當(dāng)嚴(yán)格直譯，而功能文體學(xué)作為現(xiàn)代文體理論，為文體分析提供了新的方法。本文嘗試運(yùn)用功能文體學(xué)理論指導(dǎo)英文科技合同文本的分析和翻譯。功能文體學(xué)包含功能觀、層次觀和語(yǔ)境理論；能幫助加深人們對(duì)合同文本實(shí)質(zhì)的理解，克服傳統(tǒng)文體分析和翻譯的缺點(diǎn)和不足。本文指出，英文科技合同文本翻譯的關(guān)鍵目的不僅僅是取得字面含義的對(duì)等，更要取得功能對(duì)等。
