本論文針對(duì)不甚了解英文商務(wù)合同的譯者和對(duì)之抱有興趣的人士，從功能對(duì)等的角度對(duì)英文商務(wù)合同固定條款的英-中翻譯進(jìn)行研究。首先，論文介紹了學(xué)者們先前在對(duì)等及合同翻譯方面的研究并指出他們的不足之處�；诖�，作者采用新的研究方法，建立理論柜架，在奈達(dá)對(duì)等理論的基礎(chǔ)上，通過熟悉英文商務(wù)合同的固定條款，探討了英文商務(wù)合同的翻譯。為使讀者在翻譯實(shí)例分析之前對(duì)英文商務(wù)合同的語言有大致了解，作者在下一部分介紹了英文商務(wù)合同的文體特征。作者通過大量的實(shí)例，為讀者揭開了英文商務(wù)合同的神秘面紗。最后，作者通過大量的實(shí)例分析，從功能對(duì)等的角度在詞匯、句法和條款等三個(gè)層面對(duì)英文商務(wù)合同固定條款的翻譯進(jìn)行分析。這樣，讀者可能會(huì)對(duì)英文商務(wù)合同的翻譯有所了解，甚至能夠在一定程度上掌握之。英文商務(wù)合同在經(jīng)濟(jì)活動(dòng)和商業(yè)交易中起著起足輕重的作用，英文商務(wù)合同的翻譯亦然。作者希望本論文能夠有所貢獻(xiàn)并能拋磚引玉。
