【摘要】：荀子是戰(zhàn)國時期著名的儒家代表人物,也是先秦百家思想的集大成者,如郭沫若先生所言:“荀子是先秦諸子中最后一位大師,他不僅集儒家的大成,而且可以說是集百家的大成�！�(1)對“物”、“欲”及物欲關系的探究是荀子思想的重要組成部分。本文第一部分主要分析荀子物欲思想產(chǎn)生的歷史背景及其理論淵源,指出荀子物欲思想是以儒家傳統(tǒng)物欲觀為核心,通過借鑒法、墨等學派的相關理論來進行建構(gòu)。其目的在于針對戰(zhàn)國末期的社會現(xiàn)實,對儒家傳統(tǒng)價值觀給以功利主義視角的闡釋。第二部分首先界定了《荀子》中“物”、“性”、“欲”等概念,揭示荀子人性論“以欲為性”,“以欲為惡”的特征,并對欲的層次進行劃分;其次列舉“物屈于欲”,“欲窮乎物”兩種物欲矛盾的表現(xiàn)形式,并分析物欲矛盾成因;最后在明確認知之心為協(xié)調(diào)物欲矛盾關鍵的基礎上,說明物欲協(xié)調(diào)的方法。在這一過程中以物欲為線索將荀子思想中的天人觀、人性論、禮論、認識論結(jié)合在一起。第三部分對荀子物欲思想進行評價,指出其對先秦儒學發(fā)展,先秦子學整合等方面的意義,并分析荀子物欲思想的理論局限性。
[Abstract]:Xunzi is a famous representative of Confucianism in the warring States period, and also a master of the hundred schools of thought in the Pre-Qin Dynasty. As Mr. Guo Moruo put it: "Xunzi is the last master of the pre-Qin school of thought. He not only gathers the great success of Confucianism, Moreover, it can be said that it is an important part of Xunzi's thought to probe into the relationship between "thing", "desire" and "material desire". The first part of this paper mainly analyzes the historical background and theoretical origin of Xunzi's thought of material desire, and points out that Xunzi's thought of material desire is based on the Confucian traditional view of material desire. Its purpose is to explain the Confucian traditional values from the perspective of utilitarianism in view of the social reality in the late warring States period. The second part first defines the concepts of "thing", "sex" and "desire" in Xunzi, reveals the characteristics of Xunzi's theory of human nature, "taking desire as nature" and "taking desire as evil" and classifies the levels of desire; secondly, enumerates "things subjugate to desire". This paper analyzes the causes of the contradiction between material desire and material desire, and finally explains the method of coordination of material desire on the basis of clarifying that the heart of cognition is the key to coordinate the contradiction of material desire. In this process, Xunzi's theory of man and nature, human nature, propriety and epistemology are combined with the material desire as the clue. The third part evaluates Xunzi's thought of material desire, points out its significance to the development of pre-Qin Confucianism and the integration of pre-Qin school, and analyzes the theoretical limitation of Xunzi's thought of material desire.
