[Abstract]:Superior vena cava syndrome (SVC), also called superior vena cava occlusion syndrome, is a complete or incomplete obstruction of the superior vena cava and its main branches caused by and around the superior vena cava. A group of syndromes leading to partial or total obstruction of blood flow from the superior vena cava system and the formation of collateral circulation.
