[Abstract]:Hypertension in pregnancy ( pregnancy - induced hypertension ) is one of the most common complications in female pregnancy . In the past , doctors pay more attention to the effects of pregnancy on the perinatal period , such as increasing the risk of preterm labor , fetal distress and cardiovascular disease such as cardiovascular disease ( " fetal origin " hypothesis ) , and ignoring its influence on the long - term health of women .
