從《梅麗迪安》解讀艾利斯·沃克的黑人女性主義思想

艾麗斯·沃克是20世紀(jì)文壇最負(fù)盛名的美國(guó)黑人女性作家。通過(guò)其作品,沃克真實(shí)再現(xiàn)了黑人女性作為邊緣化他者在種族主義和性別主義雙重壓迫下的麻木生活和悲慘命運(yùn),號(hào)召黑人女性應(yīng)該從扭曲化的社會(huì)定型描述中勇敢地掙脫出來(lái),尋找自己人格的完整性,建構(gòu)屬于自己的黑人女性話語(yǔ)。同時(shí),她還特別關(guān)注黑人優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)及藝術(shù)形式,認(rèn)為它們是定位黑人完整身份不可或缺的重要組成部分,需要得到格外重視、挖掘并繼承!睹符惖习病氛沁@樣一部作品,以二十世紀(jì)六十年代的民權(quán)運(yùn)動(dòng)為背景,講述了參與該運(yùn)動(dòng)的這一代青年的成長(zhǎng)。這部小說(shuō)真實(shí)而深刻,凝聚著作者本人不少政治主張和抱負(fù)。本文除引言和結(jié)論部分外,共分成三章。引言概括性介紹了作家、作品情況及相關(guān)評(píng)論,指出了潛在不足之處。第一章從后殖民主義的刻版化印象理論角度入手,聯(lián)系黑人女權(quán)主義者對(duì)這一理論的重視與理解,分析黑人女性長(zhǎng)期受到的來(lái)自于白人世界的壓迫,尤其是當(dāng)這種刻版化定性思維被內(nèi)化并通過(guò)母女關(guān)系世代相傳,黑人女性思想被深深毒害,導(dǎo)致精神世界受到嚴(yán)重創(chuàng)傷。小說(shuō)人物梅麗迪安的成長(zhǎng)故事不僅表現(xiàn)了黑人女性所受的精神創(chuàng)傷,還體現(xiàn)出破除刻板化形象、建立黑人女性話語(yǔ)的必要性和迫切性。第二章通過(guò)...
