《女勇士》中的矛盾心理

本文將探究湯亭亭作品《女勇士》中包含的矛盾心理,主要研究美國(guó)唐人街社區(qū)里家長(zhǎng)制以及母系沖突的矛盾性,母女之間由于文化和意識(shí)形態(tài)的差異造成的疏離與愛(ài)恨情仇等復(fù)雜心理和行為、華裔建構(gòu)自身主體性以及湯亭亭改寫(xiě)中國(guó)古典神話故事中的人物花木蘭和蔡琰時(shí)蘊(yùn)含著對(duì)中國(guó)文化的東方主義化的矛盾,也蘊(yùn)含著華裔對(duì)其文化自治的追求。母女關(guān)系貫通全書(shū),美國(guó)女兒和中國(guó)母親之間的誤解、女兒對(duì)母親的疏離和認(rèn)同都具有矛盾色彩,在母系文學(xué)中顯得尤為重要。本書(shū)以女性主義稱著,而其女性主義呈現(xiàn)出主流色彩的同時(shí)表現(xiàn)出強(qiáng)烈的后殖民女性主義氣息,從整體上看,二者之間界限模糊,使得華裔女性陷于兩難的境地中。華裔子女和懷舊的中國(guó)移民父輩之間的矛盾、沖突與美國(guó)社會(huì)的種族問(wèn)題夾雜在一起,使得華裔在構(gòu)建其主體性時(shí)的矛盾情節(jié)愈顯復(fù)雜,而且,黃種歧視從未停止過(guò),華裔在非黃非白的“飛地”中探詢“我”是誰(shuí)?“我”是什么?“我”該如何成為“我”等問(wèn)題時(shí)其主體性顯現(xiàn)出雜糅性。華裔面臨的文化沖擊揭示出華裔子女與中國(guó)文化及美國(guó)文化之間的溝壑難以逾越,文化表述表明華裔對(duì)中國(guó)文化的理解、湯亭亭對(duì)中國(guó)神話形象改寫(xiě)與其預(yù)期效果難以相符。
