柯氏《古舟子詠》的生態(tài)倫理解讀

塞繆爾·泰勒·柯勒律治(1772-1834)是19世紀(jì)早期著名的英國(guó)浪漫主義詩(shī)人、哲學(xué)家、評(píng)論家,也是“湖畔派”代表詩(shī)人之一。他把自然視為創(chuàng)作的靈魂,其詩(shī)歌由自然而生,為自然而存,體現(xiàn)自然本身的價(jià)值。詩(shī)人于1798年發(fā)表的長(zhǎng)詩(shī)《古舟子詠》是一首富有奇幻色彩的生態(tài)寓言詩(shī),詩(shī)歌取材于自然卻遠(yuǎn)非對(duì)自然景物的直觀臨摹,體現(xiàn)了詩(shī)人對(duì)非人類生命實(shí)體的關(guān)注,批判了人類對(duì)自然的負(fù)面影響,具有深刻的生態(tài)倫理內(nèi)涵。《古舟子詠》是柯氏自然觀的具體化,它表現(xiàn)出的生態(tài)倫理思想極具啟發(fā)性,遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超越了同時(shí)代的其它作品。它賦予人們無(wú)限的思考空間去重新感知自然、審視自然,對(duì)自然更加敏感,繼而產(chǎn)生敬重之情。本文試結(jié)合保羅·泰勒的生命平等主義及柯勒律治的哲學(xué)思想和宗教觀,從《古舟子詠》具有生態(tài)倫理內(nèi)涵的必要前提出發(fā),分析詩(shī)歌中具有生命中心論特點(diǎn)的自然世界,透視處于生態(tài)倫理關(guān)系中的人類,并探討生態(tài)倫理和諧的構(gòu)建。通過(guò)對(duì)詩(shī)歌的詳細(xì)分析,本文認(rèn)為:《古舟子詠》折射出生命平等主義的生態(tài)倫理特征,倡導(dǎo)顛覆人類中心主義所堅(jiān)持的人類優(yōu)越性,試圖喚起人們建立敬重自然的態(tài)度,并且為構(gòu)建生態(tài)倫理和諧提供了具體的道德策略和方向。
