【摘要】：本文運(yùn)用榮格的原型理論的三個(gè)方面，阿尼瑪，人格面具和陰影來分析霍桑小說中的四個(gè)主要男性角色，丁梅斯代爾、齊靈渥斯、布朗和胡柏的心理結(jié)構(gòu)。本文全面探索這些人物的心理問題，運(yùn)用榮格原型理論分析霍桑對(duì)這些人物心中隱藏的罪惡的關(guān)注，從而找出霍桑創(chuàng)作這些類型人物的原因。 本文共分為五章。第一章介紹與論文研究相關(guān)的國內(nèi)外研究現(xiàn)狀以及論文的目的、意義和結(jié)構(gòu)。第二章梳理榮格原型理論的發(fā)展脈絡(luò)，重點(diǎn)是對(duì)阿尼瑪、人格面具和陰影定義的理解和闡釋。第三章運(yùn)用阿尼瑪原型、人格面具原型和陰影原型來具體分析四個(gè)人物的心理結(jié)構(gòu)。丁梅斯代爾由于過度扮演自己稱職牧師的人格面具，造成無法面對(duì)自己內(nèi)心的欲望沖動(dòng)，包括他對(duì)海斯特的愛情，以致于愧疚而死。齊靈渥斯無法忍受妻子的背叛，將內(nèi)心的邪惡投射到丁梅斯代爾的身上，至使他暗地里扮演的自命法官的形象過度膨脹。布朗過分扮演自己好好先生的人格面具，將自己的陰影投射在他人身上，，以至于他沒辦法調(diào)和自己與外部世界的關(guān)系。胡柏牧師的悲劇在于他堅(jiān)信黑面紗能讓世人袒露自己內(nèi)心隱匿的罪惡，但他沒有意識(shí)到自己的黑面紗也造成了罪惡，這充滿了反諷意味。第四章總結(jié)這四個(gè)人物類似的心理特點(diǎn)并用榮格的陰影理論分析霍桑對(duì)人性罪惡的思考。 霍桑對(duì)人性惡的探索在他所創(chuàng)作的這四個(gè)人物身上都有體現(xiàn)。他們都不同程度的逃避自己身上惡的一面，最后引起心理結(jié)構(gòu)的失衡�；羯�(chuàng)造類似心理結(jié)構(gòu)失衡的人物的真正目的在于呼吁人們敢于正視自己內(nèi)心惡的一面，唯有以此人的心理才能朝著和諧、美好的方向發(fā)展。
[Abstract]:This paper analyzes the psychological structure of four main male characters in Hawthorne's novels, Dimmesdale, Chillingworth, Brown and Hooper, using three aspects of Jung's archetypal theory, Anima, personality mask and shadow. This paper explores the psychological problems of these characters and analyzes Hawthorne's concern about the hidden evil in their hearts by using Jung's archetypal theory so as to find out the reasons for Hawthorne's creation of these types of characters. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces the domestic and foreign research status, the purpose, significance and structure of the thesis. The second chapter combs the development of Jung's archetypal theory, focusing on the understanding and interpretation of the definitions of Anima, personality mask and shadow. Chapter three uses Anima archetypal, personality mask archetype and shadow archetype to analyze the psychological structure of the four characters. Dimmesdale died of guilt because he overplayed the personality mask of a competent pastor, unable to face his inner urges, including his love for Hester. Chillingworth could not bear his wife's betrayal, projecting the evil in his heart to Dimmesdale, so that his image as a self-proclaimed judge was overinflated. Brown played too much of his good man's personality mask and cast his shadow on others, so much so that he could not reconcile himself with the outside world. The tragedy of Reverend Hooper lies in his conviction that the veil of darkness can reveal the hidden evil in the world, but he does not realize that his veil also causes evil, which is ironic. Chapter four summarizes the similar psychological characteristics of the four characters and analyzes Hawthorne's thinking on human nature sin with Jung's shadow theory. Hawthorne's exploration of human nature is reflected in the four characters he has created. They all escape the evil side of themselves in different degrees, and finally cause the imbalance of psychological structure. The real purpose of Hawthorne's creation of similar unbalanced psychological structure is to appeal to people to face up to their inner evil side, and only by this way can their psychology develop in a harmonious and beautiful direction.
