岡倉天心英文作品自我與他者形象的跨文化辯證研究

  岡倉天心(1862-1913)代表了明治維新時(shí)期日本知識分子在東西對峙中敏感的文化觸角和靈魂掙扎,他的系列英文作品《東方的覺醒》、《東方的理想》、《日本的覺醒》及《茶之書》反映出暗夜中日本面對的選擇焦慮:是應(yīng)該支持德川幕府向內(nèi)尋求文化滋養(yǎng)與自我覺醒的傳統(tǒng),抑或是傾向于福澤諭吉脫亞入歐派向外接受全盤西化的策略?還是尋覓另外的發(fā)展道路?他的作品皆彌散著對歷史沿革中民族命運(yùn)的思考以及對植根其中的人文藝術(shù)的關(guān)懷,用融入東方價(jià)值觀的西方語言為載體,言說亞洲并解密東方,受到世界的關(guān)注與重視。更重要的是,岡倉天心這四本書是東西方文化碰撞狂濤乍起之時(shí)的傾力之作,是消解權(quán)力話語下異質(zhì)性文化偏見并融入文化間對話與認(rèn)同的訴求與實(shí)踐。諸如“自我”與“他者”互為鏡像的形象塑造,多元文化碰撞中的矛盾心態(tài),以及本土和全球意識的踐行等跨文化研究問題有一定的參考價(jià)值。目前有關(guān)形象學(xué)的研究多側(cè)重對異國形象或異國對本國形象的單向度敘事上,涉及從不同主體視角對自我與他者形象關(guān)系的探究還有待開拓,對雙語創(chuàng)作者岡倉天心的文學(xué)表現(xiàn)與闡釋也是一塊極具跨文化實(shí)踐意義卻鮮有研究的領(lǐng)域。作者以跨文化批判學(xué)為框架,形象學(xué)與跨文化形象學(xué)為理論...
