西蒙的回憶劇及陰性人物探究

【摘要】:尼爾·西蒙是戰(zhàn)后美國百老匯著名的劇作家。他以后現(xiàn)代時期作為時代背景,運用皮蘭德婁式創(chuàng)作手法和意識流技巧,在自身經(jīng)歷的基礎(chǔ)上,創(chuàng)作了諸多回憶劇作品,塑造了形態(tài)各異、惟妙惟肖的陰性人物。陰性人物是聚焦者的鏡面影像。觀眾可以透過陰性人物在回憶世界的反思和內(nèi)省的意識活動,了解到聚焦者內(nèi)在的心理活動,從而聚焦生活,反映社會。這是西蒙對戲劇創(chuàng)作的突破,具有很高的藝術(shù)價值和現(xiàn)實意義。
