【摘要】：馬克·吐溫是十九世紀(jì)末美國批判現(xiàn)實主義文學(xué)的代表作家,他的作品里隨處可見對社會現(xiàn)象的犀利諷刺。在小說《傻瓜威爾遜》中,馬克·吐溫敘述了羅克珊主導(dǎo)的換嬰鬧劇和以及由此導(dǎo)致的一系列慘劇�？v觀前人的研究成果,多數(shù)研究著重探討了對湯姆的教育和美國的奴隸制度,幾乎沒有從文學(xué)倫理批評的角度來對該小說中的背叛現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行剖析。本文討論了湯姆對其生母、叔叔和兒時玩伴的背叛,并分析了導(dǎo)致這種現(xiàn)象的因素。從總體上講,這些因素可以分為外部因素和內(nèi)部因素。外因如來自他人的威脅、湯姆由白人變?yōu)楹诎谆煅獌哼@一倫理身份的轉(zhuǎn)變、家人的溺愛、自尊受到的傷害和種族歧視是導(dǎo)致湯姆背叛親友的催化劑。除此之外,湯姆人格上的缺點如不理性、懦弱和不負(fù)責(zé)任等都是導(dǎo)致他對親友的背叛。占主導(dǎo)地位的非理智因素導(dǎo)致湯姆每次做出的決定都有違倫理道德規(guī)范。同時,湯姆還是個懦弱的人,對那些曾給予他幫助的人毫無感恩之心。只有將上述內(nèi)外因素消除,湯姆才有可能不會陷入背叛親友的倫理困境。盡管馬克·吐溫在小說中諷刺了奴隸制和種族隔離制度,但這并不意味著外部因素可以單獨(dú)決定個人的行為。事實上,個人言行的形成是外部因素和內(nèi)在品質(zhì)共同作用的結(jié)果。因此,該小說中湯姆違背公認(rèn)倫理秩序的行為是其所處的不良社會環(huán)境及其自身的低劣品質(zhì)共同作用的結(jié)果。
[Abstract]:Mark Twain is a representative writer of American critical realism in the late 19th century. In the novel Fool Wilson, Mark Twain describes Roxanne's infanticide and a series of tragedies. Throughout the previous studies, most of the studies focused on the education of Tom and slavery in the United States, hardly from the perspective of literary ethical criticism to analyze the phenomenon of betrayal in the novel. This paper discusses Tom's betrayal of his birth mother, uncle and childhood playmate, and analyzes the factors leading to this phenomenon. Generally speaking, these factors can be divided into external factors and internal factors. The change of ethical identity of Tom from white to black and white, the doting of his family, the hurt to his self-esteem and racial discrimination are the catalysts for Tom's betrayal of relatives and friends. In addition, Tom's personality shortcomings such as irrationality, cowardice and irresponsibility all led to his betrayal of relatives and friends. The dominant irrational factors led Tom to make every decision against ethical norms. At the same time, Tom was a coward, ungrateful to those who had helped him. Only by removing the above-mentioned internal and external factors can Tom avoid the ethical dilemma of betraying relatives and friends. Although Mark Twain satirizes slavery and apartheid in his novels, it does not mean that external factors alone determine individual behavior. In fact, the formation of personal words and deeds is the result of external factors and internal qualities. Therefore, Tom's disobeying the accepted ethical order in this novel is the result of his bad social environment and his own inferior quality.
