【摘要】：20世紀(jì)初,E.M.福斯特在《霍華茲莊園》(1910)中借瑪格麗特之口發(fā)出"唯有聯(lián)結(jié)"的呼聲;21世紀(jì)初,扎迪·史密斯在《關(guān)于美》(2005)中對(duì)這一呼聲給予了回應(yīng)和反思。后者通過描述自由主義的貝爾西一家和保守主義的基普斯一家,通過對(duì)這兩家人的對(duì)比、沖突與互動(dòng)揭示了新時(shí)期種族聯(lián)結(jié)、政治聯(lián)結(jié)、人際與自我聯(lián)結(jié)的困境,反映了自由人文主義思想的理想化和社會(huì)進(jìn)步的局限,暗示年輕一代仍需付出更大的努力來實(shí)現(xiàn)個(gè)體完善、政治公平和社會(huì)公正。
[Abstract]:E. M. In 1910, Foster uttered the voice of "only connection" by Margaret. In the beginning of the 21st century, Zadei Smith responded and reflected on this call in "about Beauty" 2005). The latter reveals the dilemma of racial, political, interpersonal and self-bonding in the new era by describing the Belsey family of liberalism and the Kippes of conservatism, and by comparing the two families, conflict and interaction. It reflects the idealization of liberal humanism and the limitation of social progress, suggesting that the younger generation still need to pay more efforts to realize individual perfection, political fairness and social justice.
