[Abstract]:In the classical literature of the world, Russian critical realism writer Chekhov is one of the favorite writers of Chinese readers. Mr. Rulong, a famous translator, has devoted most of his life to translating all of Chekhov's works. It has built a bridge between Chinese and Russian cultures and left Chinese readers a valuable spiritual wealth. It also includes Chekhov's numerous letters. The readers are familiar with Chekhov's novels and plays, but, Few people study his letters. In his letters, there is a lot of information we don't know. For example, Chinese readers seldom know that Chekhov came home to incense on his journey to Sakhalin Island in the far East.
