【摘要】：正《霧都孤兒》是英國作家查爾斯·狄更斯的早期作品之一,作者在小說中塑造了許多真實(shí)立體的孤兒形象,以小見大地影射了歷史變革中的英國社會(huì),由孤兒現(xiàn)象引發(fā)對(duì)整個(gè)時(shí)代的思考。本文重點(diǎn)研究小說中的孤兒形象,以期實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)作品內(nèi)涵的把握。一、小說主要內(nèi)容小說主人公奧利弗·特威斯特是一個(gè)出生在濟(jì)貧院的孤兒。他的母親臨盆前被人在路邊發(fā)現(xiàn),在濟(jì)貧院生下他之后便撒手人寰。無依無靠、身世成謎的奧利弗自幼得不到基本的生活保障,經(jīng)常受到他人的欺辱。他不堪棺材店老板
[Abstract]:"Orphan Twist" is one of the early works of Charles Dickens, a British writer. In his novels, the author has created many real three-dimensional images of orphans, and through a small part he can see that the whole British society in historical change is inferred. This paper focuses on the orphan image in the novel, in order to grasp the connotation of the work. Oliver Twist, the protagonist of the novel, is an orphan born in a workhouse. His mother was found by the roadside before the birth of his mother, and he died after he was born in the poorhouse. Oliver, an enigma, was often bullied by others because he had no basic security since he was a child. He was in trouble with the owner of the coffin shop
